REGINA COELI PARISH

Father Christopher D. Donley was born and raised in Pittsburgh’s East End neighborhood of Point Breeze, where he attended St. Bede elementary school and Central Catholic High School. He went on to graduate from Duquesne University where he studied History and Theology. After working at Catholic Charities for two years, Fr Chris entered St. Paul Seminary to study for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Fr Chris attended University in Rome where he attained a Sacred License in Dogmatic Theology and was ordained to the priesthood in 2011. Following his time as Parochial Vicar at St. Sebastian Parish and St. Kilian Parish in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, where he was also the chaplain to North Catholic High School, he was named Pastor of St. Raphael Parish in Morningside. He is currently the Pastor of Divine Mercy Parish in Downtown Pittsburgh where he helps lead several ministries, including the Red Door ministry to the poor. Father Chris also founded Move a Mountain Missions, which runs Brother Andres Café, and Gift of Mary Women’s Shelter, which runs a young woman’s mission program specializing in domestic abuse. He is the chaplain to Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School, Point Park University and Catholic Charities. He has also attained certification in Spiritual Direction through the Institute for Priestly Formation. When not in ministry, Fr. Chris enjoys skiing, playing basketball and hockey, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Nick Salinas, a native of St. Louis, MO, entered an English Benedictine monastery in 2000, where he took temporary vows for eight years. During this time, he earned a B.A. in Philosophy and Classics from St. Louis University and taught theology at the St. Louis Priory School. After concluding his monastic vows, Nick discerned a call to married life and relocated to Pittsburgh in 2009 as a teacher at Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh. He has been the director of the middle school since 2012. Nick earned a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on secondary languages from Duquesne University in 2018. He and his wife are proud parents of five children.

Fr. Adam Potter grew up in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, with his parents and five younger siblings. After his high school graduation in 2006, he attended Penn State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Math in 2010. After graduation, he entered the seminary for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. After earning a Master's degree in Philosophy from Duquesne University, Bishop Zubik sent Fr. Adam to Rome for his theology studies, where he received his Bachelor of Sacred Theology degree from the Pontifical Gregorian University and his License in Studies on Marriage and Family from the John Paul II Institute. Fr. Adam was ordained a priest on June 25, 2016 at St. Paul Cathedral by Bishop Zubik. He is a Parochial Vicar at  Mary, Mother of God Parish. He is also the part-time chaplain at Serra Catholic High School and the chaplain to the Courage Chapter in the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
